Is it possible to change a Windows 7 64-bit computer to a 32-bit?

I have had my Windows 7 computer since December 2009, and it has worked perfectly for the last year. I was positive that my computer was a 32-bit, because I had checked by right-clicking the 'Computer' button from the start menu. But, starting on December 29, 2010, none of my programs would open correctly. The only program I can open is Internet Explorer 64-bit. I checked the computer settings, and it now states that my computer is a 64-bit, which makes no sense to me. I cannot open Media Player or any other programs I've downloaded.

Is it possible to change a Windows 7 computer from 64-bit back to a 32-bit? If someone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it :D

Welcome
There is only one way and that is to take your 32 bit DVD and reinstall. I never heard of such a problem. Does someone have access to your computer?
You must do a clean install with format to go to 32. I really dont think, with the circumstances what you are saying is even possible

There is another way
If the computer came with Seven, you can restore to factory specs.
