Is someone using my computer

I saw this:
O2 - BHO: Browser Address Error Redirector - {CA6319C0-31B7-401E-A518-A07C3DB8F777} - C:\Program Files\BAE\BAE.dll
In your log.

I'm not sure how roboform works, but a redirect sends all internet stuff to another computer to watch what you are doing. If your passwords arent encrypted, someone could see them.

As i said, you've had it for awhile i believe, so i think youre safe.

If Nikilet is using a Dell computer it comes with the installed software. What the extension does is redirect any Google 404 error codes to a Dell site. Some argue it's safe, some argue it's not. Me personally, would delete the file via Hijackthis.
Nikilet - do you have a Dell computer or did you install some type of software that came with a Google toolbar? If so, it's completely up to you if you want to delete it. If you do, close any open browsers, check this BHO in Hijackthis and click on fix. HJT will make a backup and you can delete the backup after a few days when you're satisfied everything is running OK.

Are you still OK with the dashes, dining sounds and the other problems that you initially posted about? Sounded like you got it fixed, but if not, you can always do a System Restore and use your old keyboard.

Thanks to the two of you who stuck this out. I really think I'm ok. RoboForm is supposed to have passwords encrypted so am thinking I'm ok there too.

I'm not sure what to do about that redirector item. Thing that scares me is that I'm 100 miles from the nearest computer shop, and I'm not very knowledgeable technically, so I hate to do something that will throw a wrench in the works. I'll think on it.

I'm going to consider this matter closed now and hope it stays that way!:)

I truly appreciate the help and the staying power!

I don't think that redirect you described is gone. It was in the last HJT log I posted. But I think it is something to do with Dell so am not going to worry about it at this time. Thanks again, and have a great day!
