Most computers with OEM Vista preloaded do not come with a DVD Installation disk.

Scenario :
That computer crashes, and the recovery partition does not help restoring.
That particular computer manufacturer cannot provide with a set of recovery disks due to the age and or model of the computer.

Question :
Will it be allowed,under the UEA policy in general, and in this Vistax64 forum in particular, to suugest to the user to " borrow " a Vista DVD Installation disk ( with the same bit level of course ) and restore the computer using the user's own OEM product key ?
I read about EUA prohibiting "lending " the media to others.

Yes, that's pefectly fine since they would be using their own product key number on the COA sticker on their computer.

The license is for the product key number itself. As long as everyone uses only their legally purchased product key number on their COA sticker, it will be perfectly legal and acceptable.
