Kingston USB Flash

I bought a 4GB USB Kingston Flash yesterday.
When I save items on it like videos - they do not work. And when I save notepads and open it in the USB, the words are all coded.
Help please!
Any reply would be highly appreciated!

it IS currently set to FAT32, but I am formatting.

Are you trying to open it on the same pc?? make sure if the file is notepad it have .txt at the end

No, I am not trying to open it in the same PC.
I have formatted, and it still does not work =(
When I opened the video, it said, ''Format not supported''

Ohh ok, what i recon is that perhaps the pc you are trying to open it don't support the format, download vlc player
VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player
And try then

I take videos from another PC to the Flash drive, then I open it from the flash drive from the SAME PC I am taking the videos from. It then says the format is not supported, assuming if I take the flash and insert it into MY pc, it would not work (the video would not play). In the other PC, however, the video would play if opened directly from it, and not from the Flash drive.

Hey guys!
I formatted the Flash Drive again.
And it worked
Lol, I guess I should be happy, I am, but I would *LOVE* to know exactly *WHAT* made it work...
I guess some things just get fixed in the end.
