Sorry to hear about your mobo's death. You should not have to install the video drivers twice. Vista should auto detect it and assign the same current drivers to it.
I keep seeing folks post their Vid card temps. Where the heck do you find that? I can see CPU temps and case temps in BIOS, but I can't find Vid card temp.
Really? I thought I had heard there were a bunch of problems with nTune and Vista64. LOL I just spent an hour at the evga forums thinking I had seen it there but I couldn't find anything. Were the problems all when Vista came out and are fixed now?
Hey.. i jus put in a new hard drive n so i reinstalled windows n updated 2 sp1 (vista ultimate x64) i installed the latest whql driver (174.74 ) and i get a 1.0 in the graphics section in the experience index of vista ( i have a 9800 gtx ) it's really piddling of.. can anyone help me out..
Sorry GR, can't help you there. It doesn't sound likely that you'ld need 2 drivers but then I'm pretty inept at tech stuff anyway. I just scrape by mostly, with help from people like yourself.
I bet you'll get some amazing results from 2 GTXs. So far I'm dead pleased with my GTS but I haven't really given it a lengthy test in games yet. Also if 169.25 remains stable I think I'll stick with it for a while rather than trying newer drivers. I think that's what screwed my system with the other card.
Can't remember if I said anything bad about Overclockers,co.uk but I was getting frantic with the Gigabyte card. Anyway they have given me a refund and been totally honourable so I would recommend them to anyone.
Why not mail Nvidia direct about SLI drivers? Or maybe there will be something in their knowledge base/FAQs. Good luck and let us know how they perform once you get them running. John

Thanks pal lol. Now let's see if I can uninstall Mr. nTune or if I can do a system restore. In the thread I saw SOMEWHERE (still can't find it) folks were saying that they couldn't uninstall and that their restore points were screwed up as well.
I believe your board supports ESA. I use it with an XFX 780i and it does everything. BIOS changes, temp and voltage monitoring of the mobo, graphics and CPU. YOu can alter fan speeds of the CPU and graphics cards. Mobo fans too if they are connected to the fan headers. It will also allow you to view and alter your BIOS from windows. Updates the BIOS as well. It works perfectly.
Hi bubba. I didn't have much luck with nTune either. It didn't seem to work properly and I got lots of BSODs but I had various problems at the time so I couldn't really say it was down to nTune.
However I'm now using Riva Tuner on my 64 bit Vista HP. this does all sorts of stuff and can be used to overclock and so on. I'm just using it to monitor core temps at the moment but it seems to work well. John
Comparing your system specifications with the list of supported products, I find that the nForce 790i is not included as being compatible with nTune. This would explain the BSOD. A system restore should return operationality to your system.
