Solved Locked Out

Hey everyone,
Its been a while! Talk about growing up quick haha! Anyways....

My gram asked me to fix her computer.... She let me little cousin try and fix it and he reset the password for whatever god forsaken reason. Now she is locked out.... I could install a second version of an os on her computer but she has almost no space left....

I have tried everything to get some sort of hint. The only thing left that i can do is reinstall everything and she said that is not an option because she has a ton of personal info on there.

Can anyone out there help a fellow NeRd out?!?!D:D

Hey Ben,

Haven't seen you for a while - doing fun things , I hope.

D/l this , burn the .iso image to cd ( use isoburner.exe - attached ), boot it and blank the password. Should get your Gran back in.

Hey Brink and SIW,
Didnt work... Tried it threee times on my Memere's computer and twice on mine and none of them worked. I read the tutorial and also the directions on their site. Nothing. I dont know what/if i did anything wrong.
Is there anything else i can do or am i SOOL?!?!?

Hi Ben,

Well, if using the option in the link above did not help, then you can place your hard drive in a friend's computer temporarily to manually backup anything that you do not want to lose off of it before doing a clean reinstall.

If it didn't work on both machines - you may not be doing it right.

You are in luck, there is:

Paragon Rescue Kit Pro 8.5

being given away - they have new version so are not selling it any more.

It was on GAOTD recently - so is bound to be given away elsewhere - google it.

It will probably come in a rmb.exe - when you run that, click the link it pops up to get your free license key. It burns itself to cd.

Boot the cd - select Pasword cleaner - and it couldn't be easier.

Paragon are good like that - they let you register /re register their stuff - even the giveaways, pretty much forever. They don't want people to be stuck if they need to reinstall, etc.
