Logitech Webcam

Does anyone have any problem getting web cams to work, I have 2 an old orange micro (Ibot) which is now in the garbage, since i can never find drivers for it; and a Logitech pro cam 3000 which i have the drivers and have them installed, but nothing can find the web cam, (no software or program).
Additionally I keep getting this message on startup that says cannot connect to camera, is there any Hope of running a web cam in Vista x64 Tia System: Asus L1N 4 procs, 8 gb of corsair ram and perepherals!

try uninstalling the camera drivers, then just plug in the camera. vista might be able to use a generic driver, like with my vx1000 camera.

hi i had a similar problem with my old web cam... unfortunately i still cant use it to date
however i did find one of these beasts and they work great and cost very little :D

i have both on 2 different computers and they work a treat...the 1 im using is the connect

its only a shame that a lot of old devices dont and wont work with vista or will never be supported in vista

p.s. the messenger version come with 3 different colored changeable fronts... red blue and green

Thanks Guys, :D I will go out and buy something with drivers made in this century it seems that the orange micro drivers i installed, (and after Vista warned me not to) made my computer unbootable and i had put in Vista disk and repair the computer 3 times then restore. That'll teach me. but it's back up and i gues i will go spend the money now.
