Solved Looking for a Free Conversion program MKV formar.

I am looking for a FREE, NOT FREE TRIAL video conversion program that converts to mkv format.. I would like one that is quicker than alot of others.. I dont want to spend 2 hours on a file rhat is 25 min long.... I need it to convert to a smaller rate cut file size greatly...Divx Plus converter is ok, but its trial and too slow...but it reduces the size of the file greatly.....

Even though the name is Quick AVI Creator it will also output .mkv

You can get good results in one pass if you give it some bit rate to work with.
