Hi!

I've been searching for a while now and I can't find anything to resolve this issue.

Everytime I start my computer I get an RunDLL error pop-up with:
An error has occured during loading of msirxa32.dll
Can not find given module

I've googled this and only found a few useless hits. They all state that it's a virus or trojan. And that I should delete the temp folder of my browser and then run a anti-virus/anti-malware to remove it from my computer.

Needless to say, that didn't work. I also tried to SFC/ SCANNOW - command. The first time it repaired a few things, but after that it stated that everything was ok. But I still have this message after start-up.

I really, really don't want to have to install Windows all over again. I can't do a system restore, because at the oldest date available I already was having this problem

So... any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!!!

Hello GGL and welcome to the forums

There is a wonderful script called SilentRunners.vbs which will generate a text file with a huge list of all files that run on startup; so I think that would be a good place to start:

Please RIGHT-CLICK HERE and Save As (in IE it's "Save Target As", in FF it's "Save Link As") to download Silent Runners.

• Save it to the desktop.
• Run Silent Runner's by doubleclicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop.
• You will receive a prompt:
  • Do you want to skip supplementary searches?
    click NO
• If you receive an error just click OK and double-click it to run it again - sometimes it won't run as it's supposed to the first time but will in subsequent runs.
• You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done, let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!)
• Once you receive the prompt All Done!, open the text file on the desktop, copy that entire log, and paste it here.

*NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

Let's see where this is trying to launch from

If you're still infected, I won't be able to assist you with the removal as the terms of my malware removal degree state that I can't do so. I will, however, ask an expert if they can help.
