Solved My dell xps m1530 laptop wont start unless its hot

I got a Windows vista laptop Dell xps m1530 the backlights wont turn on unless the laptop is hot. I was on the internet and some one said make your graphics card hot and it will work but for me it only works if its hot. Anyone have any Idears?

I think that it's your machine's problem so don't repair alone. Go to sell point where you buy it. They can solved it or change your laptop.

Ah.

I have the same laptop, but I have to charge it for a few minutes, restart the machine by the power button at least three times, and then it will work properly.

I think the screen might be broken on it like mine is, because all the lights come on mine and it boots, but the actual monitor doesn't show properly, and is partially broken for me.

However it's a very nice laptop otherwise just battery life is very poor (1 hour and 22 minutes)
