Hello Thatonedude,
Sounds like you need to clean it.
There are two ways of doing this.

1. Strip out the keypad, clean, and re-install.
2. Clean the keypad by using compressed air, and a spray cleaner.

If you choose option one, it's not that hard a job to do, just make a note of what goes where.
If you choose option two, your local PC shop will have all the bits you need to get this done.
