Need advise on what slideshow programe to use

When I try to burn my photos on windows media player or dvd maker, I can only burn about three pictures out of hundreds on my burn list. In addition,the pictures never burn in the order that I want. I have tried reducing burn speed,different types of discs,and Microsoft fix it with no luck. It seems that there must be an easier way to create a slideshow. To make matters worse, my burn driver has disappeared.

have you tried windows movie maker?
do you mean your cd/dvd drive has disappeared? if yes then try this. Your CD drive or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs
