Need help badly

i am using a dell inspiron 1525 laptop and i have vista 32 bit system

i had been having problems with my laptop and i some viruses so i decided to do a dell image restore and then i had a problem with a password so i had to reinstall from the cd now i have 2 versions of vista installed 1 on my c: drive and the other on my d: recovery drive so when i start the laptop it asks me which vista i want to start how can i remove the one on my d: drive ?

select the proper windows you want to keep on the log on.. then your main windows will be on the c drive.. all you need to do is format the D drive or delete the other windows and all the files..

Do not format the D:\ drive...

once your in the windows environment that you always choose:

start search > type sysdm.cpl > press enter, accept the UAC prompt > then i forgot which tab it was in that window, you can select the default system to boot into. choose that one, then it shouldn't ask any longer.
