Need help! New problem

My laptop with Vista Home Premium has been just fine for about a year and this afternoon on the desktop the Windows pop up came up with Windows Exploring is not working..., then a pop up that said Windows will try to diagnose problem..., then a pop up that says Windows is restarting. This goes on and on and on in a loop and you can't do anything with it! I have to manually shut down. Then when I start it up, it starts again before you can click on any desktop icon, or get to help or anything! I have tried various things but nothing is working. Please, does someone know what to do...I did also restore back to yesterday to see if that would make a difference but it didn't do a thing. Help! I need the laptop back!

Thanks. I will try this and see if it helps. My Kaspersky Internet Security program just popped up with something about files corrupted....black list or something like that. Not sure what that means either.

I ran the Repair Install Kaspersky via the Windows control panel and this took care of it! Seems to be running fine now. Thanks for all the help. Appreciate it!

No problem. When running the Kaspersky scan It'd be best to let it finish before running the other programs; for future reference.

Let us know if anything comes up.
