Solved New folders after upgrade to ultimate
I have these new folders after upgrading Home Premium to Ultimate Vista. This is a question a lot of you will know but I have never seen them before. Are these the Windows.old folders I always hear about? Can they be deleted? Thanks.
The "inplace" and "windows Q" folders are the ones in question.

Hi Nate,
You get them when there has been a inplace upgrade installation of Vista. You can use
Disk Cleanup (note step 7 at link) to delete them.
