hi.now i did buy a ssd drive to install on my new mobo .
so do i just install vista and the motherboard driver and that it .
or do i have to go to the bios and change the [ahci] .
i dont know nothing about doing this in my bios but i could get the guy next door to do it for me .

Just put in the installation CD and change your boot settings in bios so you have CD in first place.
i ask what be best drive for me to use because i did go in a bios before .
all i know after reading a lot about ssd drive to get the wax speed you have to go in the bios and it to [ahci].
so i dont know if i should use the 10000 .
if it is the same vista clean install like it is on a plain drive

so i will get the full speed right .well not all because my mobo only have the 3 gb not not the 6 gb connection .
so this will be faster then the 10000 right .
this is a really good ssd drive
this is the ddr2 board[ ASROCK|A785GM-LE 785G AM3 .very good.
and 4 gb g-skill 4-4-4-12.
then i did buy 3 brand new drive for it .
one ssd .one 10000. and one wd black caviar 500 gb .
am up to 350.00 only in drive here .
but i do have 2 brand new ddr2 board.one with ddr2 and ddr3 on it
i will build this one here then later i will buy the rest for the secound board

this one here is fast .when i click on vista forum on my favorite tool bar i do not have time to say 1 it there .that is fast for a plain drive
so if the ssd is twice that speed wow
well the one that am talking above is the one i use now .
the drive is wd 500 black caviar 7200.
i boot in 60 secs .i did try it 2 day ago from pushing on the power swicth to my desktop
i just did on word icon and no time to count to one .so this is not slow for a 7200
now directro in texas just did ship my 10000 drive .
this is my last time i buy from them .the shipping is to slow
5 day before they ship but in the policy they have on it mention all order place before 2 p.m are ship the same day [bull ]
now they did ship my 500 drive on the 14 and never receive it yet .
so that is a least 3 weeks am way to old to wait that long
all this to save about 20.00 .no more this is it with them .

now if your order is ship from nj .3 day at my door .
this really fast .but some of the item are ship from ca .so that is 10 day to my door .

cant not open window update .
i was able to open the control panel at fisrt but i just dont know what happen it will not open .
