When I type in "run", "cmd", "Windows Defender", etc, it keeps on popping up "No items match your search." I tried typing in everything, and it pops up with the same thing. How do I fix this?

Reading your first post, carefully, it mentions run.
When you click on the start button you will see run, ignore that
Toward the bottom you will see Search Programs and Files
It is there that you type CMD or Defender etc.
Go to seach by the start button and type the name of what you want.
Do not put it in "run" which you will, also see, when you click onn the start button
I clicked on the Start Menu, and started typing in "Calculator" in the search bar. It said "No Items Match Your Search"
I type in everything but it still says that. The only thing I can do to access calculator, notepad, etc is to go to All Programs, and then Accessories. I want to do it quicker by just typing the name in the Start Search bar.
This will create a text file called tom982.txt in the root folder of your main drive (e.g. C:\tom982.txt). Please copy and paste the contents of this into your next post.
Right-click on your start button and click Properties. Click on the Start Menu tab, scroll down to the heading Search other files and libraries, then make sure Search with public folders is selected.
