Thanks for the link. I was just taking a look when wither 3 posted.
Hi wither 3,
She took the laptop back several times and paid for them to "adjust" the touchpad for her. They told her to use a USB.
Trust me. You do not want to take your computer to these people. Very bad rep! She refuses to take it back yet again and I don't blame her. There's more to this story but I'd have to write you a novel to explain.

I did get the Driver installed. I still have no access to control the sensitivity for the touchpad though. When I click on the Device Settings tab then click on the Settings button below the Devices: I am confronted with a Wheel Mouse on PS/2 Port screen and I have only the option to adjust buttons. Under that is > Overview. When I click on the arrow to the left of Overview it says Patent Notices. No other options for configuring, Tapping, Virtual Scrolling, Pointer Motion , nor Sensitivity
Let me know if you need an image to see what I am seeing.

Hm. Concerning the sensitive comment, I thought so.
Give me a day or two to get back to you with the results of uninstalling the mouse. I need to focus my sights on my personal laptop that just crashed leaving me with a black screen that displayed "Missing Operating System" on reboot before I could follow through with richc46's guidance on macrium we were discussing in the following link.

By the way, when I said uninstall the mouse, I just meant unplug it after you're at that screen. Don't know how to get there otherwise. I thought maybe the touchpad controls aren't available when a mouse is connected. It's a long shot.
