Solved Not Sure Where Else To Ask

I'm 99.9% sure my account has been registered but I can't send any PMs. I checked FAQ and it doesn't explain why I can't. I try to PM admins but can't. It tells me either I'm not registered or that I don't have sufficient privileges.

I want to PM someone about a thread I have in gaming, and am unable to do so.

I have a feeling there's something blatantly obvious that I'm missing here, but I'm not sure what that is.

Here you go. Check these settings in your User CP.

Click User CP. Under Settings & Options, click Edit Options. You will see the following sub-section under Messaging & Notification. These are the default settings.

Ensure that they are set as shown. Try PMing me to see if they work.

There's "Enable Visitor Messaging" and all those are checked and I'm still unable to PM anyone... I tried unchecking "limit messaging to contacts and moderators" and still nothing.

I can't find anything about "Private Messaging" anywhere and I checked every section of my User CP twice...

I'm starting to wonder if I should just try to make a new account and see if that works. :/

THIS IS NOW SOLVED

I finally searched FAQ and found Private Messages and I tried clicking that link and I was suddenly able to send Private Messages. I have confirmed this by successfully PMing myself.
