OEM mousepad stopped working

SO I have had the new laptop for about 4 months now.

Toshiba Satellite A305 Home Premium 64bit SP1

Last week the mouse pad decided to stop working, went out and bought a new usb wireless mouse to get by with. Looking at the device manager, everything looks OK and says it working normal, also says it has the most current drivers.

Any ideas how to get the pad back up and running.

TIA

Chris

Hi Chris,

The machine should still be under warranty; return it for another. Trust me, the last thing you want to do is pull a laptop apart... you need 8 arms to get it back together.
