Office 2007 Problems

At first I had problems with outlook freezing on start up. I tried to repair the installation and that didn't work so I tried to uninstall but going through add/remove programs didn't work so I had to follow the microsoft guide to manually uninstall it.
That seemed to work but now I can't get it to install, the installer just hangs and doesn't go anywhere.

I've tried pretty much everything I can think of and my next move is reformatting which I don't really want to do.

Any one have any ideas of what I can do?

Use system restore to put outlook back the way it was. Then use Revno uninstaller to remove it. You should be ok.

You probably have remnanats remaining, you can try to use ccleaner to remove them, or you can make an advanced search to look for any files with the name of the program. You can try this in lieu of, or in addition to my previous advice.

Unfortunately, I can go back using system restore and I have tried different types of uninstall programs and even followed the microsoft guide to manually uninstall all traces of office 2007.

I've managed to get outlook 2003 working alongside office 2007 but outlook 2007 still refuses to work but after a few dialog boxes and attempting to install boxes all other office 2007 programs work.
