Any help someone could provide on an issue with Vista HP would be very appreciated.
Keep getting APPCRASHES from all sorts of applications, ranging from Skype, to IE 7 and Microsoft Money. After watching these crashes for months, and using Process Explorer, it seems the common thread of the crashes is that OLE32.DLL is pointed to each time. At the suggestion of an earlier post, ran sfc /scannow, but it didn't find a problem with any system files.
Further research at this forum and here (http://support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_i...leshooting1000) discusses trying the REGSRV32 OLE32.DLL command.
Tempted to try this, but before typing in unfamiliar commands, wondering if anyone knows:
1. Is there a risk of running this command?
2. Is there a chance this might actually solve the issue?
Thanks!
