Let me be the first to congrat, Lorien, for 1000 quality posts. I think that we all can agree that these are quality posts that may have helped more than just the OP.
So come on gang lets party and thank Lorien for his contribution.

What a nice thread! Congrats again Lorien for a job well done so far -- with much more good stuff to come, I'm sure! And thanks Rich for starting the thread. What a nice idea, for a guy who, I know, appreciates it!
Thanks again everyone! I really do appreciate it. Now it's going to be a few months before the Gold Member Badge (and maybe a second medal sometime in there or shortly after), so for a while, it's sort of back to normal.
Great job Lorien, I am sure it is safe to say you inspire us all here to help out even more. I know I have forgotten the splendors of helping and even attempting to help others in the forum. I have learned more about Windows here at Vista Forums than anywhere else. It's great to be apart of such a community.
Thanks for the kind words, Chase. I hope you do get inspired to post more in the regular forums where you have the proven expertise to help other people - especially since the number of actively responding members has decreased considerably and we can use all the help we can get (even given the relatively lower volume of posts - multiple replies from different members sometimes give OPs more options to consider and adds information that may not have been previously provided). We work best as a team supporting each other.
Thanks again to you and everyone else here.
Plus I'd like to see posts from you where I can be justified in providing rep as I try to rep my friends when warranted, but you haven't really given me many opportunities to do so.

lol. I know, my time has been taken up by college classes and work, but I'm getting near my break so I'll start getting deep into the helping/learning phase. I think some of my best posts were things I was learning as I was helping the thread starter. I'll give you something to rep me for soon.

I don't drink alcohol much because of the medication, but I had a heaping glass of OJ to toast the occasion.
Thanks again, everyone. This was quite a pleasant surprise and is much appreciated. I've hit 1000 posts before in other forums, but doing so here was more special to me than anywhere else had been.
Yes, Congratulations Lorien!! You were a tremendous help to me - thorough is just one description! So I haven't been on the forum in some time and thought I would check in to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!! I sure picked the right DAY!!
