Password recovery not working

Hi... help,

My mother gave me this computer with Vista Home Premium and she can't remember the password. We've tried everything to fix it but nothing is working.

Safe mode wont load up (normal or command).
No administrator option.
Cant reset password.

In a real pickle here as normally save mode would work, but as said nothing is working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Probably the only recourse would be to format and reinstall Windows Vista. However you must remember it's no longer supported so you may have difficulties activating and updating it.
If it were me I'd research whether or not it's Windows 10-capable and opt for the appropriate version x86 or x64 and format. install that.

Thanks. I wouldn't think so. I was primarily curious why you offered Win 7 to a person with Vista, when they didn't have a Win 7 key.

Did you try the Opera browser? I am also able to reach it using the latest version of FireFox. I think they call it Extended and it's still being updated.
