Has anybody else had trouble installing it?
I use Vista Premium x64.
It worked when I had x32 installed though, so my computer can handle it.

Photoshop CS4 won't install.

Try Program Files instead of Program Files (x86). Use the administrator account to install it.

custom install. Uninstall first then custom install. I have CS4 and Lightroom 2.3 both x64.

I've got After Effects & Flash, both CS4, running on my PC.
This is the error I get at the end:

Error 1603. Fatal error during installation.

You had the trial install. OK. Do a uninstall of CS4. When you reboot and reinstall the trial, it will have a custom install mode. You can change the default drive and path.

I still couldn't change the install path.
I've partitioned my drive, 500gb is for x64 & the other 500gb is for x32...if I installed CS4 on the x32 partition, would I be able to use it when I run the x64 os?

You have to install each application on both OS. I custom install all my Adobe products. There is a custom install method.

I have downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS4 and it doesnt even get to the coustom install selection. It opens up and says "checking your system profile" and then it comes up with a pop up saying "An error has occured. Please contact adobe customer service" I have tried Running the setup as an administrator but it still wont do it! Any help?
