I just had my hard drive scraped and reinstalled and ever since i can pull up a large version of my picturesa, just the thumbnails. Help my wife is mad!

Look at the "Views" menu in explorer, then use the arrow pointer & the slider to control the thumbnail sizes.

Have you set a default viewer for pictures
Right click on a picture and hover the mouse over "open with" go to the bottom of what is offered and set default program to view with.
