Please help

Last month i got a nasty virus, managed to rid myself of it but it had ruined my installation. so i reset to factory setting and reinstalled it all worked fine except the the storage partition part of my hdd was missing (F: i think) in my computer, i read my bits here were safe, the hdd still reads 300+gig if i look in the c: properties hardware section ect, i dont know how to explane it any better so questions are welcome

I have an acer aspire ax1300
windows vista hp 32bit

I have 1 hdd 320gig split into 2x142gig and the rest i assume is the partitioned recovery section

sorry for the drawn outness and unhelpfulness of my question but would be very grateful of any help

Please indicate, what typre of recovery you did & if during the recovery of your system you formated "all drives" or just drive "C"?
