Please I need to know how to Partition my HD

New Member
I have Ms Windows Vista Home Premium.
Local Drive C:\ is at the momment is 429 GB Free of 465 GB
I would like to partition it in 2
Can you please advise me step by step how to partition it ?
I don't want to use other partition software, if posible I want to use from Vista it self,

Whatever you do, I suggest you leave at least 50 to 60GBs for the Vista C: partition. That will leave enough room for future installation of additional programs, the growth of winsxs (which can grow to 15GBs) and some 7 to 10 restore points.
You may also consider to move your user data to this new partition. It is always a good practice to seperate the use data from the operating system.
