Hello, and welcome to the Vista Forums!

I just have one or two slight questions:

1: Visual Basic and C# are two completely different languages. Which one are you using? Or both?

2:
1. CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
2. C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
3. c:\Windows\system32\sfcdetails.txt
One and Two are the same log. Do you have that sfcdetails.txt file? Could you please upload it, or do you need help?

Thanks!

Richard

Hi Richard,

Thank for your reply.

I am not a technical guy and I don't understand Visual Basic and C# as you had mentioned.

I try to explain as detail as possible. When I use a USB modem to access to the internet, a rectangle box from Microsoft Windows pop out with Visual C# Command Line Comiler had stopped working error.

I type sfc /scannow in Command Prompt to check which file causes the error.
After the scan completed. It state Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
c:\Windows\system32\
That what I wanted to present in my earlier post.

I wish to know how to get rid of the Visual C# Command Line Compiler had stopped working error. Pls guide me from here, after I had typed sfc /scannow.

I am using Windows Vista home Basic. SP2.

Thank.
