Solved pls help new, audio fix, getting new gpu, help im easy step by step process

pls i need help try to get my sound to work no use, some filthy bad hat messed it up or did.

Sndvol.exe -s. should an s be there? and i cant find sndvol.exe -s only sndvol.exe

like is there a download or a repair or something, i got it to load all the way up to open sound mixer, and it said no device installed i followed the normal steps, rundll32 stopped working it like a complete circle, its bugging me and im a hard going gamer vista has great gameing qualities. sorry for spam. it also crashes when you try and open it while it starts up. im pretty sure i did not burn the mulitpliers or the little black thingies its a simi open system, meaning it has no face cover lol.

go to sound and click on the small +

ADS instant HDTV PCI, ive tried onboard and then swapped back to pci,its yellow yield signed , and realtek high definition audio.

its been built back up so it can run right, burned itself once, 4200+ dual. its really fast just no sound, and a game with no sound just sucks , i aux chucked her in one of the aux jacks, but i have 5 all together and there on a diffrent lay out, so i mean if it is burnt then figuratively speaking i should be able to get the others to work. the register i ran a register test when it went with some nasty sound app, they were there and it showed up but it would not run.

i was on mc, my headphones were going, and i was talking to a server owner during the time, while in the fits if rage we were having i started to chuck at my headphones because they would not work properly, the headphones went soon after and then a bunch of deleted files fallow this, then no sound, problems with sound before this? absolutely. currently, no sound mixer display its grey, and it says the audio service is not running, will not run because rundll32 has stopped. now im being bombarded with windows audio endpoint builder has stopped working.

Go to start menu and type cmd
Right click on result and click run as administrator
type rstrui.exe
system restore will start
select a date from before the problem started

edit: press enter after typing rstrui.exe

its off. no restore point.

try open cmd as above and type
sfc /scannow
press enter

that might take me awhile. but okay. ill let you know after, but ive already done it.

I don't expect this to fix everything but it will give us the best starting point

100% cbs.log windir\logs\CBS\cbs.log. found some unable to fix some. mbam and reboot now. :D

Reboot and run the scan again (up to 3 times) as it will repair more things each time it is run, up to a point.

ok anyway, im pretty sure it did nothing because i was getting roasted. as in it crashed three times with added bugging by who knows.

OK Sorry I had to go out. What do you mean crashed, did it blue screen?
Can you upload the cbs log please
In cmd as administrator type

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log

or

notepad C:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log

1st option would be better
