can someone out there pls help me? i have a sony vaio which had a hard disc crash sometime back. i outsourced someone to help me have my hard disk changed. only then did i know that having changed the hard disk, all my sony original software are gone which i was not aware that by changing the hard disk, i am not able to have my computer back to factory settings like i first bought it.
i took my computer back to sony, which they did burn me a recovery disc, but that did not work at all. they told me that its the hard disk which is new & cannot communicate like before. Sony has installed its software on the old hard disk and windows on it, so therefore after the change, they told me that by wanting the laptop to go back to factory settings i have to change my hard disk thru Sony again.
Can anyone help me pls. All i want is my PC to go back to factory settings with sony software in it & i would like to be able to reformat & reinstall windows... Please can someone understand & help me pls
