Is there any program that i can run and check my PS usage?

I have Sea sonic 700w 80plus and i will like to know if its capable to handle my hardware and how much is in use right now.

For now i have in my desktop:3 hard disks,1 dvd writer,4 dimms of ram,
1 ati radeon 3870x2,3 thermaltake smart case fan ll and 1 arctik cooling fan.

Hi Panais,

No software that I know of, you can use a multimeter to check voltages on the various lines and thus work out current draw on the PSU and thus the power.

The easiest way is to add together the power "wattage" rating of each of your components (info should be available in documentation or on manufacturer's web site) a total of all the ratings at their highest load figure should give a worst case figure which should be less than your rated peak PSU output. The total of the "normal " Load figures of all the components that are working at the same time should be less than your continuous rating for the PSU.

This is of course an exercise based on quoted figures each component is different and also may vary over time.

Is this a general question or do you have reason to think the unit may not be upto the task?

From the day(before 2 days)i install 3 thermaltake smart case fan II my computer sims to act strange,sometimes stack on the startup screen,hard disk slow,internet getting slow.
