i want to upgrade my graphics card - currently running a 300w (rofl) that came with the premade tower but want to throw in a 600w to push a strong card - is there any kind of risk to hurt the mb? thanx for any help oh and its a standard 20+4 pin

No it won't hurt the motherboard. The only thing you need to watch for is that a standard ATX power supply will fit in that HP case.

If it is a mini ATX case, then it won't fit in because of the width. The Ultra x3 is an ATX PSU.

i ended up getting a HIS Hightech H467QT512P Radeon HD 4670 IceQ Turbo 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported - barelt fit - large fan systen but has a 5.7 on gaming score for windows expierence - although claims needs minimum of 400w ps i have a 300w with no xtra periphials and works fine - all i play is wow and am able to max so it actually was a good find - thanx guys
