Solved Problem running Wamp on Vista

One of my Computer Club members is running Vista 32 bit with IE 9 and we have installed Wamp on her PC. It is running OK and all services have the green light. When trying to open IIS7 we are getting the 404 Message "You do not have permission to open this file". The PC is not on a network and she is the sole user. She is running Skype and Team Viewer both of which have had the port 80 stopped.
Any advice please

Hi Richard
Very many thanks for the info. I have successfully created the administrator account or so the cmd window said but when I click Log off I only see my original user name, no extra name "Administrator" What am I missing?

You are using the special adminstrator in your user account, most likely.
Bring up the adminstrator and try to do what you need to. If it works, post and I will help you get the permissions that you need. That administrator is for emergency, not everyday, use.

Oh Dear - Silly me. I set this up ages ago. Have been working on my Win 7 machine thinking I would test before sorting my members Vista machine. All OK no, will complete the job tomorrow and report back. No I dont use the administrator account as the every day user so no worries there. Thanks for your help. My oh my how quickly you forget but then a lot of water has passed under my bridge in the past few months, happily all is beginning to look better now. Thanks again
JM

Hi Richard
Delighted to say that I have just come off a TeamViewer session with my club member and everything went as planned. Created the Admin and Wamp worked fine. Installed "Take Ownership" and did so for the Wamp folder then edited the user permissions. Logged out of the Admin and into the normal User and Wamp worked fine. The only odd thing is that wamp didn't work using IIS7 but worked with IIS7 but then It is Vista ith IE9! No great problem just a bit intrigueing!
Once again many thanks for your sound advice.
