Problem when creating recovery disks

Hi,

I recently bought a HP pavillon notebook, and I want to create recovery disks with "Recovery Manager ---> Recovery Disk creation".

I'm using DVD-R disks, the Recovery Manager tells me I need 3 disks. After the creation of the first disk, the Recovery Manager ejects the disk tells me (in french):

Creation du disque 1 sur 3 réussie
Reinserez le disque que vous venez de creer et fermez le plateau du lecteur.

which means:

disk 1 of 3 successfullly created
Insert the disk you just created and close the drive tray.

I did that, but nothing happens, the program will do nothing and does not proceed to ne next step; the creation of disc 2.

There might have been something lost in translation there. Try inserting a blank disc when this pops up. What happens then?

OK, thanks for the clarification there. If you're still experiencing the problem, I'd suggest contacting HP since the recovery discs are from them.
