Problems !!!!!

Had a spy/ad-ware attack which prevented me from doing anything on pc,located it got rid of it,but was still limited on what I could do so I did a system restore. Now I cant play civilization 4 (with beyond the sword add on).The short cut has a windows shield icon on it.It will ask if I want to allow civ to start but then I get nothing. I've tried to uninstall but it says set up .exe has stopped working.
Also after restart I get a message "Catalyst Control Center has stopped working" I believe this is video card settings .


Any help would be appreciated

Get the latest version from here
We will need more info on your virus,what was it? how did you remove it?
Have you scanned with something like Malwarebytes and had a clean report?
Have you tried the system file checker
