I believe this is the right forum, but if not, please correct me.
First, I'm on Vista HP SP2, 4GM ram, Sony laptop. Computer name is vgn-ar350e.
I encountered a problem with the display of folders which turned out to be a corrupt user profile. I followed the various instructions online to duplicate the profile. Now when I reach the login screen, there are three logins: administrator, profile1 and profile2. However, if I browse the c:\users folder, there are extra folders; administrator, administrator.vgn-ar350o, profile1, profile2, profile2.vgn-ar350e.
The contents of the two administrator folders and the two profile2 folders are different. Profile2 was a copy of profile1; what I'm confused about are the .vgn-ar350e folders. Where did they come from and how can I consolidate all of this.
