RAM problem

hi all,

today i m on this platform with one of my friend problem. He has windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS. the total RAM installed is 2 GB(as usable) while the system showing 16 GB.

What is the reason for this? please help us in this unique problem.

Take your time. That memtest is an eight hour deal if done correctly.
