Upgrading the memory in your computer is the fastest way to better performance, in Windows Vista. recommending 2GB of RAM for Vista, but i believeif going over 3GB if you are using 32-bit Vista or XP, Windows won’t be able to use all of it.
there are great sites out there for deciding which memory upgrade u want and compatibility ( google it )

in 32 bit u can have 4 gigs it just doesnt show you that you have 4 gigs, but it will still be utilising it

Yes, just line up the memory stick with the notch in the memory slot, it can only go in one way. Make sure the clips are opened and just push down. Be very careful, use both hands!!

i think those r better cuz they have heatsinks for the same price, but r they compatible?

That`s only 2 gigs total , thought you wanted 4 ? The PNYs come with heatsinks also.

If your board only has 2 slots you`ll kick yourself later for not getting 4GBs, just make sure your motherboard will support all 4GBs when and if you install the 64 bit OS.

i have 4 slots for ram 2 which are filled up so that makes 2 gigs, i have 32 bit and i wanted to get 2 gigs more to get 4 gig total.
