Recently Changed

Hi All,

New member. I have been reading quite a bit of troubles with the Recently Changed file. I deleted all from this big file and found that all was deleted completly. Pictures I had received from a friend and music I had downloaded. I notice some others have had this problem.

I am not an expert at all so is there anyone out there who can explain if it is possible to clear this file and not delete everything? Or is it possible to stop stuff going into Recently Changed all together? Dont want to appear a 'nit wit' but simple explanation would be great. Hope someone can help I feel like I'v been messing with this thing for ages. Thanks

Hello Debbie, and welcome to Vista Forums.

You could turn off Recent Items to stop and clear it.
