registration, validation

I'm new to this site, I just bought a new laptop with windows vista home premium with label OME, so can I just go a head and register it, because it is not said to be a trial version. so please advise me, I'm not all that good at PC.

Your supplier should have been professional enough to have guided you through all that ,admon. In any case you should be able to just use it and a prompt will come up to Activate..just follow the prompts,very easy. Another thing you can do is to go to Start menu--All Programs check for any entry saying Windows Update and go through that process which will include Validation etc. It's a little difficult to advise you over this forum as we do not know how much or how little you DO know. If you ask the questions the right way,giving as much detail as you can ,you will get lots of help on this forum. Good luck friend !
