If you cant use the repair method that I first gave you
Ubuntu does not work using the method that I and Ilikefree gave you. I dont know what to do.
You can try to buy an install DVD, from the company that gave you Vista, for cost about $25.00 and try to install. However, you may have a hardware problem and the install DVD would not work either. I have no more options.

how do i know if it hardware problem?

That was the f11. Read my post again, carefully to be sure you did it right. That post is right from HP, it should work.

i think that the recovery is broken, cuz when i press f11 it should work, if it doesnt than its broken.

It may be a problem with the computer and not the software. If its not the software not much I can do.

If you try eveything that I told you and if others offer help and it does not work and you try what you know and it does not work, you have to bring it into the shop. If its hardware or software and we cant fix it you must bring it in.

I saw the video and I think that you should
Create the Ubuntu CD that I told you about and boot from the CD. If you boot from a flash it may not be bootable. Go back to my ubuntu post and do it step by step.

when i put in the drive the new cd, it starts formatting it but in the end it says that something went wrong - and i dont have another cd. what do i do now?

You may want to borrow or buy new CDs.

Sounds like the CD you are trying may be defective.
