Solved Reinstalling Vista on dual boot Ubuntu

I have Vista installed on my laptop which was already on the machine when I bought it new, it had a few problems after some years, I think I should just reinstall Vista with an ISO that I've got from here.

But a few weeks ago I installed Ubuntu on dual boot.

If I install the Vista ISO from a USB drive should I download the drivers for the hard drive or will the Ubuntu drivers work? Or not because it's a different operating system?

Thanks

I'm guessing different OS's needed different drivers to interact with the hard drive for installation.

I think I'm going to reinstall Vista first then if I need to, install Ubuntu after that.
