Repair Issue

Have Vista Home Premium 32bit on ah HP desktop. Recently, the display goes black but when in safe mode no such problems exists. When display goes black both the power LED and the Video signal LED is on. This monitor has both a VGA and DVI cable. Have tried the boot with both cables and with either separately. Do not have the Home Premium disk but have the Vista Ultimate 32bit disc.

Looking for guidance on how to troubleshoot this issue.

Put in clean boot mode. If you still have problems we have to dig further. If no problems follow the procedure to find the cause.

Vista is the same as Seven with a clean boot.
