Restore.

Hey guys.
Looking to sell my old HP laptop, but not sure how I would go about restoring it to factory settings.

Its a HP G6065EA, running Windows Vista Home Edition 32 bit. And I want to restore it completely to factory settings.

How would I do this? I dont have any recovery discs either.

There is a certain f key that you rapdily press during boot try f2 or f11

If that does not work and this old thread does not either, the information is in your manual or online at the mfg website.

Hi I just tried F11 and F2.
F2 took me to BIOS.
F11 took me to recovering back to a checkpoint.
That is not what I want, I want factory restore.

Any ideas?

Well, my disc drive doesnt work either so I guess that means discs are out of the question..

If your computer does not have and f key to restore to factory specs and you do not have any dvd's or dvd drive, you have to look for an alternative method. Check manual

Just found something, In the Advanced Options of Recovery manager. Restoring to factory settings and reinstalling original content!

Sounds perfect, 40% in.

Great, for your model that is how it is done. All mfg have different ways to get to factory specs.
