router disconnecting

hmm i just bought i new wired router BEFSR41 v .4.2 and ever since i've hooked it up it works and all..but when im inactive and away from my computer it disconnects myself until i am active again and load a browser

any ideas?

It could be that your router is set to do so in its powermanagent tab.
Manage Network Connections - Right click on LAN router - Properties - Configure - PowerManagement - Untick what you dont want!

Make sure you have the newest drivers for your Ethernet.
