It is a personal thing. I would not choose either, both are bloated and I have had 3 nero failures resulting in complete e-installs.
If you are looking for burning software just do a search here on SF. I was going to say if I had to I would pick, but I wouldnt
sorry

there are tons of apps that aren't bloadted and do the job. I personally use Alcohol 120% as I need several virtual dvd's so I can leave game dvd's mounted.
Its small, fast, does waht I want and doesn't bork my system
hope this helps and welcome to vistax64

Yep, alcohol 120, not 52. 120 mounts unlimited virtual drives, burns images, mounts MD5, all sorts of things.

It depends on what you wish to burn. If you want to burn ISO files then image burn is what you want.I use Nero 7 Ultra for almost all of my regular recordings for data and music. It is really just a personal preference when it comes to that sort of software. Once you pick one and use it then you get used to it and it just feels better but is not actually better then the other. The question is pretty broad so I can't be exact on the answer. I will say that when it comes to burning I am very familiar with the formats and what works.
