run as administrator

hi everyone

my printer broke down on me but i have got it printing again, the problem is that
i have to open it using RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR can this be changed to run
normally

You can completely disable UAC and make sure you're using an admin account. Although this can compromise your computer's security if you don't know what you're doing, so I don't really recommend doing it. This will basically make everything run as an administrator, which can be potentially dangerous, like I said. I don't think there's any way to make one specific program automatically run as an admin on Vista though. Sorry.

thanks for the help, but the administrator command prompt did not make
any difference to the way my printer opens. Can i take this file off of my computer
if so how do i do it

Try re-installing the printer.

If that doesn't help, you can right click on the .exe and select properties. You can check in the permissions or security tab who has permissions. If you don't have full control, you should be able to set it.
