Screen flashes and stops typing when outlook is open

You received a DVD with office, to reinstall. The key numbe is there. It is abut 25 characters, in batches of 5. There are numbers and letters. Sort of a Mission Impossible code LOL.

I found the key using Magic Jelly Bean Finder (That was easy).
But I don't have a disk with the software on it, is there a way to download it somewhere without getting in trouble? (I do have the key in my possession)

If you have the key, you can install as many times as you like on the same computer.

There shouldn't be any negitive effects with uninstalling and reinstalling that you see is there?

If you are going to uninstall, I would use Revo . Its better than the Control Panel Uninstall
Then use Ccleaner, then reinstall. There is no problem.
Before you install, make a system restrore point. You can use that for the best uninstall.

Is there a safe place to download the software? I have the key but never got a disk.

Legit download for Office 03, I doubt it.
YOu may want to call MS and ask for a DVD at cost.

I did the uninstall and reinstall, still having the flashing issue.
I'm not sure if I did the uninstall correctly. I used that program that you suggested and it said that windows was uninstalled. Then I ran CCleaner and restarted the computer. I didn't see the program on the computer anywhere then I reinstalled it. The reason I'm not sure if it was completely uninstalled is because when I opened outlook after the reinstall it already had my email accounts set up on it.


Any other ideas on what it could be.

I think that you are correct, it is not all uninstalled. Install again and use revo in agressive mode.

I uninstalled and reinstalled office and still get this constant screen refreshing .
I tried a different monitor and no difference either...

I also ran outlook in safe mode and got the same results.

Well all that I can say at this point, is that I am currently out of ideas. I will post with any new suggestions that I may have.

It turns out that the flashing was due to some kind of conflict with Outlook and my Logitech MX 5500 keyboard and mouse combo, it uses their Setpoint software. It has a bluetooth connection that is done with a bluetooth usb adapter. The only way I am able to work around it is to exit out of the program. There is an icon on the bottom right of my screen that when I right click I can select exit and it closes.

It shows up every time when I start my computer. Is there a way to turn that off so I don't have to exit out of it every time I restart my computer?

You can try to go to search type
msconfig
startup items
Then you can untick anything you do not want to start at boot.
