Shortcut issue

How can I get vista remenber desktop shortcuts sizes?
Everytime I close a program, shotcuts are tiny,tiny....

Several ways. Right click on the desktop>personalize>display. Then choose the size that you want.

Click on one short cut, so it has the border. Then press control, and with the mouse wheel adjust the size.

If after trying both these methods the size still does not remain, post and we will talk.
